A Ray of Hope

After four dreadful months in a row, September, slow as it was, looked like a champ. Sales in stamps fell only 10 percent, and other products actually rose by 6.42 percent. Stamps and other products each now have only two up months for the year. Several of you have told us things look a little better, so we are optimistic about October. We also note that small shops sales have actually been up five of the last eight months, demonstrating how the economic mess really did start with and more deeply affect the larger companies.
