Secure Stampers and Markers

Shachihata Inc. announces the arrival of the new Secure Marking Products—Secure Stampers and Markers.

Identity theft is a growing concern throughout the world. The Federal Trade Commission estimates that approximately 9 million Americans have their identities stolen every year. Awareness and preventative measures are the best tools to avoid becoming a victim. The Shachihata Secure products provide an additional tool in the fight to preserve personal information.

Secure Stampers and Markers can be used in the office and at home to cover personal information on mail, prescription bottles and legal documents, as well as covering price information on gifts and complying with recent laws concerning employee data.

The super opaque black ink blends in with the printed information and effectively camouflages and covers it—permanently. The covered information can't be easily read, scanned or copied.

It's also environmentally friendly. Most shredded paper cannot be recycled easily. Once paper is cross-cut, the fibers become too short to be fully utilized, and a lot of paper that could be saved ends up in the landfill. When secure Stamper or Marker is used, the paper remains intact and is fully recyclable.

The pre-inked stamps and markers are compact and portable. Lids on the stamps and markers snap in place to help ensure that you cover only what you want and not your desk or briefcase.

Don't let identity theft happen to you. Protect yourself with Shachihata Secure Products.

About Mega Imaging Systems

Mega Imaging Systems (MIS) of Bangalore, India, has been in the stamp business since 1993. Realizing the importance of designing stamps exactly as required by the customer, it benchmarked its processes and systems by becoming ISO 9001:2000 certified.

In order to make stamp manufacturing affordable to a large number of people at the "bottom of the pyramid" (BOP), in 2004 MIS introduced a compact budget-priced Polymer Stamp Making machine (Model B) which included free raw materials for making 100 stamps.

MIS now introduces a new NSP series pre-inked mount range with foam. This will enable stamp makers to sell flash pre-inked stamps at almost the cost of polymer stamps—a big boost to pre-inked stamp sales in third-world countries where cost still is a major issue.

New Label Design Software

Brady Worldwide Inc. announces the release of its latest version of LabelMark™ Label Design Software. With label design wizards, single-click importing and complete integration with Microsoft Office and AutoCAD applications, the software is a timesaving solution for designing, editing and printing high-performance labels.

LabelMark5 software offers new features to help users create and edit labels more efficiently, simplifying some of the most popular electrical labeling applications including wire harness and control panel jobs. The wizards walk the user step-by-step through the label design process, creating a label for all of the necessary components.

Users can design labels in either a free form graphical layout by adding graphics, barcodes and other images, or in a fixed line data entry layout where date is inputted onto a label. Users also can insert and edit an entire AutoCAD file (or an AutoCAD layer/area of interest on a layer) directly onto their labels. After creating a list of labels, users easily can duplicate it with reversed or flipped text rotations. The software also offers a quick one-step serialization function.

Many of the software's new data management tools can reduce the amount of time spent integrating data sources into the system. The new single-click importing function allows users to import data onto a label from an external source with a click of a mouse. They can select data while inside AutoCAD, Excel or Visio, apply this data to a selected label and then preview, print and save while concurrently continuing to work within these applications. LabelMark Label Design Software also offers enhanced job manager and batch printing capabilities for faster label printing.
