Introducing ImprinTec

Dan Heckle, with more than 12 years in the marking device industry, has launched ImprinTec, a representative group that empowers small manufacturers to have superior global sales exposure.

He has vast experience with flash, rubber and photopolymer manufacturing, which allows ImprinTec to help stamp companies around the world become more familiar with innovations and industry best practices. The goal is to help educate the global stamp community on improved ways to produce products and provide exceptional service through the supply chain.

ImprinTec keeps manufacturers informed to help them stay competitive, especially in these critical times. Flash, for instance, is quickly becoming the future of stamp manufacturing and offers an efficient, ecologically responsible way to make a stamp. First rubber, then polymers and now—flash. Flash is the next generation of production for the stamp industry, and as more inks come into the market it will continue to grow.

ImprinTec is well-rounded to service all facets of the marking device industry through its partnerships with Noris (inks), Shanghai Jipushen (self-inking products), Connectweb Technologies (Web-based stamp shop solutions) and Photocentric (specific markets outside the United Kingdom). Representing these functional leaders means that ImprinTec can bring you quality components, innovative solutions and collaboration to grow your business.

New Pigment-based Inks

Direct Color Systems™ recently introduced their Multisolve™ IR7 mild solvent-type pigmented inks designed exclusively for Direct Color Systems' Model 1309, 1314 and 1324 Direct Jet printers. They also can be used in the company's Model 1212 and 1320 printers when a solvent-resistant head is installed in the printer.

The IR7 line of inks includes Yellow IR7, Cyan IR7, Black IR7 and Clear IR7 along with White IR5 and Solvent Wash IR7 (for cleaning of ink supply components). The inks provide vibrant, high-intensity colors with consistent color density values.

Formulated for use in both flexible and rigid applications, Direct Color Systems' new quick-drying inks produce high-resolution, detailed images. Because they are pigment-based, they are UV stable and resist fading in outdoor environments.

Versatile Multisolve IR7 inks print directly to a wide range of substrates including PVC, ceramic tile, natural tile, wood, aluminum, glass, ABS, polycarbonate, leather, engraving plastics, paper, acrylic, crystal, CDs and DVDs. Typical applications include awards, signage, advertising specialty items, novelty items, equipment plates, namebadges and more.

Elegant Glass Stamps

Who says that stamps cannot be elegant, artful and practical at the same time? Glass stamps are an expressive new way to personalize stamping. Apart from focusing on the stamps' functionality alone, ImprinTec has created a unique and original product which will inspire.

ImprinTec's limited collections are handcrafted by artists, and each one-of-a-kind stamp is created from natural materials, making a beautiful piece of art that is both functional and environmentally responsible.

For the retailer, the sales display is a glass frame that comes with a universal set—a mosaic of different sizes that can be easily selected by the clients for their personal design taste. It enhances the beauty of a shop and will entice clients to buy.

Brady Worldwide Inc. launches its latest visual workplace products—the new 5S Marking Supplies. Designed to help lean manufacturers organize the workplace, control space usage, and manage inventory and tools, 5S Marking Supplies are an effective solution for marking the location of items on tool boards, workbenches, storage shelves, job staging areas, desktops and more.

Available in continuous rolls and die-cut shapes, 5S Marking Supplies allow manufacturers to quickly apply borders, corner marks and outline silhouettes or shadows to a wide variety of surfaces. Made of .125mm vinyl with industrial-grade adhesive backing, Brady's 5S Marking Supplies are designed to resist scratching and abrasion and can last up to two to four years in outdoor use.
