Shiny USA Supports Special Operations Warrior Foundation

The Special Operations Warrior Foundation provides a full college education to the surviving children of special operations personnel lost in the line of duty. They also provide financial assistance to families of the severely wounded to help them be at their loved one's bedside during recovery.

We are not making a political statement about the current actions in which our military is involved. However, we do feel it is important to support the families of the brave men and women in our armed forces.

We have manufactured three special S-824 self-inking stamps in camouflage tan, green and blue. One dollar has been donated for each Camo Stamp received at our Dallas warehouse. Sell sheets and order forms are available from Shiny USA.

Help us help them.

LS100EX YAG Laser Solution

Gravograph announces the launch of its new laser solution for marking on metals and plastics: the LS100EX YAG. Made of a xy platform that can house an object with a maximum volume of 24 inches x 12 inches x 5.7 inches and coupled with a YAG 12W source, it has the advantage of being able to mark hard or reflecting materials (black or stainless steel, etc.) as well as classic materials. The LS100EX YAG is aimed at applications involving personalization of objects such as business gifts, trophies and so forth as well as technical marking applications for industrial parts like nameplates, instrumentation and metal parts.

The laser technology featured in LS100EX YAG can be used to mark a wide range of materials, including ABS, aluminum, black or stainless steel and precious metals. Its large work area can house bulky objects such as holder trays on which the operator places parts in shaped recesses for concurrent engraving.

The LS100EX YAG solution is controlled using LaserStyle™ software which features automatic composition possibilities such as integration of lists of names and incrementation of numbers. With its maximum marking speed of 8.2 feet per second and its front loading design (Front Loading Concept by Gravograph), which cuts operating times between batches of parts, this laser engraving unit provides one of the highest machine use levels currently available.

Among the accessories available as options with the LS100EX YAG are integrated filtering and ventilating systems for smoke and dust which enable compliance with working conditions for the user and the machine; a wide range of objective lenses; indexing supports for engraving on cylindrical and conical objects 0.12 inches to 5.12 inches in diameter; and a vacuum table that can be fitted for marking thin, flexible materials.
