New Material Protection Film

At the suggestion of Gravograph customers, the company is integrating printed protective film into its manufacturing process. Gravograph announces the launch of a new personalized protection film (which will begin shipping as existing inventories are consumed) for Gravoply™2, Metallex® and Gravoply Laser Sheets. The film will allow products to be identified easily.

This protection film has the same ease of use characteristics as the previous film, only now including the name of the product group and storage recommendations in multiple languages.

Brady Introduces New Portable Labeler

Brady Worldwide Inc. has announced the launch of its most versatile portable printer, the new BMP™71 Label Printer. With more than 400 different label options and one of the fastest print speeds on the portable printer market, the BMP™71 labeler is a time-saving, multi-functional labeling tool for multiple applications and industries.

The BMP™71 Label Printer packs the print precision and versatility of a large desktop printer into a compact portable printer that can be carried on the jobsite. It can print on more than 30 different types of label materials, including self-laminating sleeves and flag labels, indoor/outdoor vinyl up to 2 inches wide, polyester die-cut labels, raised panel labels and more. The labeler can create more than 400 different label parts, giving users a wide variety of label types, sizes and colors to choose from. With such a wide selection of labels, the BMP™71 labeler offers the flexibility to create workplace safety labels, wire and cable markers, patch panel labels, pipe markers, visual workplace labels, barcode labels and facility identification labels—all with one printer.

Designed to create labels faster and easier, the BMP™71 Label Printer offers several new features that save time throughout the label creation process, including label design wizards for electrical, voice/data comm and safety/general ID applications.
