AMI Begins 4-Day Work Week
Effective February 2, 2009, AMI will move to a 4-day work week. New hours will be Monday through Thursday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Any order received by 3:30 EST will be shipped out via UPS the same day.
We believe everyone has a responsibility to the world we live in now and the world we leave to future generations. The biggest contributors to our carbon footprint are our travel needs and electricity demands. We all contribute to the problem of global warming and climate change; AMI is trying in a small way to contribute to a solution. By moving to a 4-day work week, we will save hundreds of gallons of gas and oil and minimize our use of electricity during peak demand hours.
We assure you that there will be no cutback on our first-class service; 98 percent of stock inventory orders we receive will be shipped the same day.
We wish all of our customers continued success.
