2010 Partner Survey Award Winner

Shachihata Inc. announced its 2010 Partner Survey award winner at the company's fourth annual manufacturing partner dinner in conjunction with the 96th annual IMIA convention in Indianapolis, Indiana, on June 3.

Prior to the show, Shachihata sent a survey to all partners with the promise that one lucky respondent would win a new Apple iPad. The winner was announced during the dinner: Jon and Pat Zeininger of Fox Stamp, Sign & Seal. Congratulations Jon and Pat!

This year's dinner theme was appreciation, and each partner received a recognition award for their dedication and continued support of the Shachihata brands. "The manufacturing partner network we have established is essential to the future success of Shachihata. We are proud to call the best in the industry our partners," said Terry Minato, company president. Expo 2010 in Shanghai

Shanghai, China, is organizing one of the largest expos in history from May to October 2010, and Trodat is putting its stamp on the event.

Each of the 242 pavilions needs an official seal to conclude contracts with personnel and suppliers. All official seals are supplied by a local Shanghai stamp maker with Trodat self-inking stamps.

The Expo pass is a favored souvenir. Five million of them will be sold in Shanghai. Several Trodat stamps are kept ready in each national pavilion so that visitors can have their Expo passes stamped: the Expo pass functions as a kind of "entrance ticket and passport" with the Expo. The Chinese pavilion, with 40,000 visitors per day, arms itself with Multi Color Professionals for the onslaught of visitors who want to adorn their counterfeit-proof passes with this pavilion stamp.

The organizers use a Multi Color security solution of a monochromatic red impression with counterfeit-proof features. Noris-Color, based in Kulmbach, Germany, developed the security inks for these applications.

Stencil Products

In 2003, Missouri Stencil Products was created as an alternative, service-oriented provider of quality products in the age-old industry of stenciling. For nearly 100 years, this industry has relied on the current providers. Today, the customer wants and needs 24-hour order fulfillment, modern technology products, barcodes, labels on demand and short-run label fulfillment—all from a single vendor.

Missouri Stencil Products offers a complete line of alternative products (as well as age-old products to meet virtually any application) that are purchased and used side by side with the older technologies. These alternative products include pressure-sensitive labels that are printed onsite at the point of application, typically right in the shipping room or production area, where the stencil cutting machine was once the mainstay; short-run label requirements for specific customer needs; in-stock thermal transfer and direct thermal label stocks in a wide variety of everyday sizes; thermal transfer ribbons to match all those varying sizes; low-volume dispensers; and semi-automatic label applicators.

Missouri Stencil Products has a wide variety of solutions to today's ever-changing application needs. All these products are supported with years of experience to make sure you are getting the best solution.
